From an idea of Magda Danysz comes Art from the Streets, the largest Street Art exhibition ever held in Southeast Asia. The walls of the ArtScience Museum of Singapore are made available to the world's most iconic street artists who, under the supervision of the French curator, propose a series of wall and non-wall works, offering the opportunity to reflect on the evolution of techniques in street art. Banksy, Fab 5 Freddy, Shepard Fairey, Futura, Lee Quinones, are just some of the big names involved in the project. The exhibition catalog introduces the reader to the most original styles around, illustrating the various nuances of the movement and highlighting its artistic importance. Art From The Streets traces 40 years of Street Art through the leading names on the global scene, showing how technology has allowed the codification of new languages and methods of communication over the years.
